Stepout the first Windows desktop application to connect people only when there is mutual interest
Stepout, a multi platform application for meeting new people locally, released in 38 languages for iOS, Android and Windows Desktop.
Stepout, a new application to meet new people near you, launches today, with a focus on connecting only people who express interest in each other. Stepout is the first app of its kind available for Windows desktop machines (7, 8 and XP) together with iOS, iPad and Android (mobile & tablet) applications.
A more anonymous experience
Stepout allows its users to vote “yes” or “no” on other people in a private manner; their interest in a person will remain hidden unless that person happens to like them too.
Stepout then only allows conversations between people who like each other, meaning that everyone who uses the App can chat with confidence, safe in the knowledge that there’s mutual interest.
“Meeting new people online can be a daunting experience. As no one on Stepout will ever know you like them unless they like you too, that initial feeling of exposure is totally removed,” explains Toon Coppens, co-founder of Stepout.
Stepout uses geo-location to show you only people near you, right now, giving a real-world edge to meeting new people, whether you’re browsing at home or using the App on the road.
Stepout is available in 38 languages, making the experience both truly global and truly local. Stepout’s Community Director Lien Louwagie explains: “Stepout is available in 38 languages and over 200 countries. We are excited to bring Stepout’s more anonymous, more accessible way to meet new people to a global audience.”
